PowerA Enhanced Xbox One Controller Review

Is the PowerA Enhanced Xbox One Controller any good? Yes! well I think so anyway.

Being a PC and a Console Gamer, having the right equipment for my game play style and technique is critical and that's where Power-A comes to my rescue once again!

As a Racer and an FPS player, I need a well-made controller with buttons on the rear to makes it easier for changing gear on a Racing game or for reload and jump on an FPS game making my reaction times faster and more fluid.

That is where the PowerA Enhanced Xbox One Controller is such a great controller. It's lighter than the official Xbox One controller but by no means lesser in quality. Unlike some other brands of controllers with these additional buttons on the back, they can feel clicky and you can feel movement on the touch area when the button is being pressed which to me shows bad build quality or design.

PowerA's Enhanced controller is nearly a one-to-one replica of the standard Xbox One Controller, and that's a good thing. The most notable design difference, however, is the new Advanced Gaming Buttons. These are programmable buttons, located under the handles, that can be reprogrammed in minutes to any other button on the controller. This can be incredibly handy for fans of first-person shooters, allowing players to map functions such as reloading weapons or throwing grenades to these buttons, ensuring thumbs never leave the joysticks. The overall feel of the controller and the quality of the buttons and their mechanisms feel no different from the official Xbox One Controller, being less than half the price and comes in a large variety of colours and designs, being very well built and from a company I have learned to trust and will recommend due to using their products over many years! This is certainly a controller you simply shouldn't overlook.

As you can see in the video the Sapphire Fade design is a beautiful blend of Candy Blue and Purple with a high gloss finish with a semi-gloss black paint job on the rear of the controller. The Gold controller is also a semi-gloss finish with the black rear but to me, The gold colour actually looks very close to the yellow 18ct gold colouring found in jewellery which looks very swish and I really like it!

Well As usual the video will be on the YouTube channel if you would like to go and check it out. Thanks for coming!

Have a great day :-)
